Substack Won’t Let Me Subscribe To Anymore More Publications Through Email
"Cannot subscribe to more than 5000 publications"
This is a publication i want to subscribe to
I like to do a research on multiple topics for different reasons, one I have multiple publications here on my Substack, and I’m also currently writing my first book it’s going to be a sci-fi fantasy, set in a mermaid world that resembles a human society.
But that’s going off topic a little but, so with all my projects like to do research on my multiple topic and I like subscribing to multiple newsletters by email.
Even though I’m putting trying to subscribe to newsletters by email and not the website or mobile app themselves, it tells me that I can’t not “subscribe to more than 5000 publications,” not sure.
Not only that when I first created my substack account I was able to create 36 accounts but it eventually told me had “create too many publications,” but I had more ideas for ‘blogs’ aka publications, but on my first account I couldn’t create anymore so I create a second account but when but I got to 10 publications this time it told me I “too many publications” so to by pass this again I created a third account which has no publications and is not associated with either of my first or second account.
It keep telling my on my third account which has no publications at all that I “created to many publications.”
First they restrict the amount of publications you can created and they restrict the amount of publications you can subscribe to.
I think those restrictions are stupid and not helpful there I publications have all different types of niches, so consolidating them into one would not be compatible to for me.
A couple of years ago I decided to move my blogs from Google’s blogger to Subsack, so I could be on the safe side and wouldn’t have to deal with the possibility of Google throwing my blogs down the memory hole, never to be seen or read again.
Substack advertised themselves where anyone good publish their work no matter what type of content they put out. But if you have multiple ideas of for blogs.
Substack probably won’t be that place for you. In the future, future I plan to move my blogs from Substack to their own actual website rather relying on a blog platform. But I’ll have to wait until I can afford that.
I hope substack rethinks the way they operate from, because when I first started my substack I was able to create more than publications like it said, I have 36 publications on my first account, but I could only create 10 publications on my second account. But also subscribing to newsletters by email shouldn’t be restricted either.
